Workforce Disability Equality Standard

The Workforce Disability Equality Standard (WDES) is a newly developed set of ten specific measures that will support NHS organisations to compare the experiences of disabled and non-disabled staff. In the first few years local NHS organisations will report this data and local data to develop an action plan. This will enable them to demonstrate progress against the indicators of disability equality. The CCG will work with local providers to support them to achieve more equal access and outcomes for disabled staff and potential staff. The CCG will use the WDES in 2021/2.
