Martin worked for a number of NHS commissioning organisations during his 29 year career in the NHS. He is a qualified accountant and was Chief Financial Officer for NHS Leeds North CCG prior to taking early retirement in March 2019. Martin is the Conflict of Interest Guardian and Freedom to Speak Up Guardian for Kirklees CCG.

Carol is the Chief Officer for NHS Kirklees CCG. She has worked in the NHS for more than 25 years, mainly within commissioning organisations in West Yorkshire. Before becoming a CCG Chief Officer, Carol held the post of Executive Director of Commissioning and Strategic Development at NHS Kirklees. She also worked as Director of Commissioning and Service Development at the former South and Central Huddersfield PCTs.
