CCGs receive a range of feedback from local people – including comments, compliments and complaints about services, views expressed during consultation and engagement activities, feedback from patient groups and representatives, and from a host of informal channels.
The feedback received provides a useful resource and helps us to understand when the local NHS is getting things right, when we are getting things wrong, and where we might be able to improve the experience of people using local services.
On this page we have set out some examples of the feedback received and actions taken by NHS North Kirklees and NHS Greater Huddersfield CCGs before they merged to become NHS Kirklees CCG.
Wheelchair service – 2017 – 2019
We asked you: about your experience of using the wheelchair service.
You told us: that the service needed to be improved.
We worked with: service users, carers, voluntary sector and other key stakeholders to develop a new specification for the service that took into account your views. We also set up a service user group to help us during the process of appointing a new service provider.
We asked service users to tell us about their experience of being involved in the development of the service. Watch this short film to find out what they said.
NHS Long Term Plan and Kirklees Operational Plan event – spring 2019
We asked you: what you thought about the NHS services that you receive and how they could be improved.
You told us: watch this short film to hear the feedback from participants.
We used your feedback: to help develop our joint operational plan (link)
